Acineobacter baumannii produced and degrade IAA
In cooperation with Dr. Hung-Yun Shu and Dr. Hao-Ping Chen, we found a gene in Acinetobacter baumannii with the ability to degrade IAA.

Later we found an MarR family regulator, IacR. We found that IacR will bind to iac promoter region and IAA bind on IacR to release IacR for RNA polymerase to transcript iacA for IAA degradation.
